What is Affirm?

Affirm is a financing option that allows you to make purchases now and pay over time. It provides flexible payment plans with clear terms, so there are no hidden fees or surprises.

Not all applicants will qualify. If you are declined, Affirm will let you know at checkout and send you an email. Customers who are not approved will need to use another payment method to complete their purchase. In some instances, they can do this directly in the Affirm application.

How does Affirm work?

Affirm allows you to split the cost of your purchase into manageable payments. Once you select Affirm at checkout, you can choose a payment plan that works for you. Payments are made monthly over a set period, with clear terms provided upfront.

Are there any fees or hidden costs with Affirm?

Affirm is transparent with its terms. There are no hidden fees, no late fees, and no penalties. What you see at checkout is what you’ll pay—either with 0% APR or a set interest rate, depending on your credit.

How can I manage my Affirm account and payments?

Affirm will send reminders when your payment is due.  You can manage your Affirm account, track your payments, and review your loan details by logging into the Affirm website or using the Affirm mobile app. In addition, you can set up AutoPay to ensure you never miss a payment. AutoPay is completely optional.  If you prefer manual payments, you can also make them directly through the app or online. And if you do miss a payment, don’t worry — Affirm will never charge you any late fees or penalties.

Does checking my eligibility for Affirm affect my credit score?

No, checking your eligibility to pay over time with Affirm will not affect your credit score. Affirm performs a soft credit check that doesn’t impact your credit score to determine your eligibility and offer payment plans. If you decide to move forward with the financing option, only then will Affirm conduct a hard credit check, which may have a minor impact on your credit.

What payment options does Affirm offer?

With Affirm, customers are in control of choosing the payment terms that best fit their budget. Options range from 4 interest-free payments every 2 weeks to monthly installments. The available payment plans may vary depending on the specific merchant agreement, but Affirm ensures flexibility and transparency with each option.

How do I know when it’s time to replace my e-bike tires or lubricate components?
